Product Overview
The Foton EST right-hand drive (RHD) 8×4 dump truck is a heavy-duty tipper developed by Foton Daimler for overseas markets. Featuring an RHD layout and announced under model BJ3319DMPKC-RA, it delivers a 40-ton rated payload with an 8×4 quad-axle configuration, combining high load capacity, strong power and dependable reliability. It is well suited to mining, aggregate haulage, infrastructure construction and other heavy-duty material transport applications.
Powertrain
The truck is powered by a Cummins ISGe3-380 diesel engine delivering 280 kW (380 hp) and meeting the EURO III emission standard, offering strong output with good fuel economy. It is matched with a Fast Gear 12JSD180TA 12-speed manual transmission for efficient power delivery. Together with the 8×4 drive configuration, the truck maintains stable performance through fully loaded starts, long grades and demanding road conditions.
Chassis & Load Capacity
The chassis is configured with a 7.5-ton front axle and 16-ton rear axles, with a 5.26 rear-axle ratio that strengthens low-speed torque for heavy loads. The 1800+3950+1350 mm wheelbase and 12.00R20 20PR heavy-duty tires (12+1), combined with an ABS anti-lock braking system, ensure stable hauling and safe, reliable braking. With overall dimensions of 10498×2545×3475 mm and a 2490 mm vehicle width, the truck remains compact and adaptable to a wide range of road and site conditions.
Cab & Equipment
The EST flat-top cab offers a spacious interior and excellent visibility. Standard equipment includes electric cab tilt, power windows, central locking, a unified five-lock system, an air-suspension driver’s seat, electric air conditioning and manually adjustable, electrically heated side mirrors, plus MP3/radio and USB connectivity for a comfortable working environment on long shifts. The spiral semi-floating spring cab suspension effectively reduces road vibration for enhanced ride comfort.
Dump Body
The 7600×2300×2000 mm rectangular dump body is constructed from Q345B high-strength steel (10 mm floor / 8 mm side walls), providing a rugged structure with excellent impact and wear resistance. Paired with a quality hydraulic hoist, it delivers smooth lifting and efficient unloading for continuous heavy-duty operation.
